New addition: APC top
I could not resist the APC sales anymore! I need a navy blue top, and this is perfect for what I'm looking for. Please, please fit.
I already promised the other one that I won't purchase/spend anything for a little while...on the credit card. So, this one is going to be paid with cash on delivery (COD), that's my excuse!
New addition: Thrifted gems
Here are some clothes that I've purchased from the local flea market, and second had store from this, and last, month. The weather has been quite erratic, and so I have not had the chance to wear any of them. I am so looking forward to, though. My favourite would have to be the shirt. Once the weather heats up, I am thinking of pairing them with the polka dot shorts, or maybe with something else- there are countless combinations. Can't wait.
Since, I got busted for purchasing two pairs of shoes, I made a promise to other one that I would not purchase or spend anything on frivolous things (i.e clothing, shoes etc). In other words, I am banned from shopping. I don't mind this at all, I think I am content with what's in my wardrobe, and am looking forward to wearing what I already have. I just need to keep away from blogs that (unintentionally) stimulate/influence (my)the need to purchase or shop.
New addition: MargaretHowell idea (JP)
MargaretHowell idea (JP) by in-dubitably on Polyvore
I got my wish, and what I've been pining over for a few weeks now. After stalking them, and waiting for the sales, they are finally mine. I am i sooo much trouble- I don't care!! I need new shoes (that's my excuse).
New addition: tops
From top: cotton top, MargaretHowell shirt, mix crochet and doily top.
Here are my purchases I mentioned on the previous post. All are second hand (wish they were cheaper), I love all of them and can't wait to wear them this summer.
New addition: Zara leather jacket
New addition: cup and saucer
The flea market nearby was open today, so as usual my son and I went to hunt for bargains (my son loves it too- he likes looking for toys, books or cards). Unlike two weeks ago, today I found many things that I was quite happy about. I found some clothes for my baby girl, I got myself a blue cotton tank top/dress, and palazzo/wide leg rayon pants which are just perfect for what I'm looking for. But, what I'm most happy about is my cup and saucer find. I convinced the elderly lady who was selling them, in my broken Japanese, if I could just purchase the one cup and saucer out of the whole set. At first she didn't seem happy about it, she went on about it being an expensive set and something else in Japanese, but in the end she was kind enough to say yes. I was so happy, and grateful that I felt that I had to indulge her with her little chit chat (mostly me just saying yes in Japanese, and her asking the questions). She was so nice, and I am so happy that she sold this to me, another addition to my slow, yet growing collection. Good day at the market today.
New addition: First find from the sales
As mentioned before, I got inspired by LAM's idea of green olive chinos. These Vanessa Bruno pair aren't quite olive, but they're close enough, and at half price I won't complain. That's one more thing to cross off my shopping list. Being broke ain't fun, but I have to minimise to bare essentials, like what I really need/use rather than what I want. So in that tune, I've revised my shopping list to only 3 items- leather shoes, white tank top and chinos. I now have the pants, so two more items..Here is what I really want, both are from Margaret Howell (JP).
New addition: My guilty pleasure
(Left: L'AutreChose, Right: See by Chloe)
I'm feeling so elated and satisfied right now. I have just bought two pairs of shoes as a treat to myself (for my birthday), and I can't believe how happy I feel. I love shoes, and I haven't bought one for ages, so I thought since it's my birthday I'll have a look-see, and just my luck Yoox are having a sale! So I couldn't resist and I bought two pairs, but what's most satisfying is that I got it for such a bargain!!! Can't wait for them to arrive. I just hope the wedge sandal won't be too much of a pain- height and size wise (because I have tiny feet and I always run into fitting problems).
New addition: vintage Celine box bag (circa 80)
I've been coveting the Celine box bag since I first laid eyes on it (2 years ago). That's as far as I would ever get because 1. I would never be able to afford it, and 2. I would never spend that amount of money on one bag (unless I was loaded). However, I've recently seen a few bloggers sporting the vintage version of the box bag and was pleasantly surprised that there was a vintage version. So off I went looking for it at my favourite online store here in Japan, and found several of them at less than half priced than what others are selling them for; purchased it and, today it arrived- and in such beautiful condition. There are a few very minor scratches, but overall the quality is perfect- soft leather straps and a sturdier leather for the bag. Definitely a timeless piece.
New addition: APC
Finally gave in to the APC sale- couldn't hold out anymore ! Also bough another MHLMargaretHowell item.
New addition: Philosophy eyeshadow.
I just got these in and I have to say the photos totally does not do them any justice. I have been a NARS eyeshadow follower for 5 or so years now, but I got sick of all my single pallettes and having to rummage through them. So, I wanted a change where everything would just be on one pallette (I wanted the Naked palette, but I can't find them here in Japan). I found these at half price and was pleasantly surprised of the quality- the packaging is sleek and simple, and the eyeshadow quality and texture are definitely more than what I had expected. So happy with this new make-up addition.
